Bienvenido Adli Law a Latinoamerica!

About mid-2011, Dr. Adli and junior associate, Mariana Noli began a campaign to expand the firm’s practice into Latin-America with the primary goal of establishing lasting relationships with companies, universities, business people and professionals. Dr. Adli and Miss Noli will be returning for a second visit during the week of October 24, 2011.

In Mexico, there is a planned seminar on the relationship between Open Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights as well as a seminar at the IMPI Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property on the topic of IP and Social Media and the Patent Reform. There are several conferences scheduled for the visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Dr. Adli and Miss Noli will end the trip at an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where executives and business owners will hear Dr. Adli’s presentation on International Contracts and Intellectual Property Law in the US.

Dr. Adli is on the Mic!

In response to requests from many listeners, Dr. Adli is resuming his weekly program on Persian language radio KIRN-670 AM. For the month of July, Dr. Adli’s program will run live on Thursdays from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. The program format includes discussion of topics of interest and listener call-ins.”

Dr. Dariush Adli is scheduled to attend INPEX, the Invention & New Product Exposition. INPEX is America’s largest invention trade show which provides a forum for inventors to exhibit their inventions and attempt to make contacts with companies interested in licensing, marketing or manufacturing new products. The Invention Show will be held June 15-17, 2011 at the Monroeville Convention Center, just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Adli is scheduled to Speak at the inventors/exhibitors at the Inventors University on June 14th. His presentation is entitled “What You Need to Know about Licensing Your Invention”. Dr. Adli will also speak at the INPEX Open Innovation on June 15th. His presentation for this event is entitled “The Tension Between the Open Innovation Model and Protection of IP rights.” Dr. Adli will also serve as a judge on the INPEX International Jury. This awards program is a highlight of INPEX and very important to the show’s exhibitors. Cutting Edge Approach To Intellectual Property & Business Matters

Dr. Adli is the founder and president of Adli Law Group P.C. His practice is primarily focused on patent litigation, representing high technology companies in the electrical and mechanical arts, including semiconductor, integrated circuit, computer hardware, architecture, software, digital processing, and communications industries. In addition, Dr. Adli’s practice includes drafting infringement and validity opinions, counseling and patent acquisition (prosecution) for select firm clients. In recent years Dr. Adli’s practice has also focused on inter–partes reexamination proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a low cost alternative to patent litigation.

Dr. Dariush Adli recently returned from Taiwan following his appointment as an Adjunct Professor of Intellectual Property Law and Technology at the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU). Additionally, during his visit, Dr. Adli also gave a seminar at CNFI (Chinese National Federation of Industries) on May 27th. The topics of his presentation included negotiations and ITC litigation outlining how the ITC is different from District Court litigation in the United States as well as the requirements of instituting an ITC action.
